Mo the Painter
Privacy
Last updated 9 October 2026
Mo the Painter is made by Sahil Verma, in the United Kingdom. Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), he is responsible for your data. This page explains what happens to it when you visit mothepainter.com. The short version: no accounts, no cookies, no ads, and nothing sold.
Watching Mo paint
The painting, the music and the sounds are made by your browser, on your device. We don't ask who you are, and we don't use cookies or advertising trackers.
Saving a painting
When you tap Save, the picture is made on your device and saved there. It isn't uploaded anywhere.
Counting visits
To know how many people visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you; it counts pages viewed, and roughly where visitors come from (country, browser, the site that linked here).
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it sees your IP address in order to send you the page, and keeps short-lived logs to protect the site from abuse.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, you agree to us keeping your email address so we can tell you when Mo's app is ready. The waitlist form is run by Tally (tally.so), which stores the addresses for us in the EU. We use it only for that, never sell or share it, and you can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send, or by writing to us.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you (usually nothing, or only your email address), or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@mothepainter.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
The site is for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes
If this changes (for example, when Mo's app launches), we'll update this page and its date.
